It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terry O’Regan Sr. on Sunday, July 5th, 2026 at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice, at the age of 77. Terry was the beloved companion of his wife Marilyn (née Mombourquette) for more than 52 years. Cherished father of April (Jeff) and Terry (Steph). He is survived by his brother Ronnie (Charlotte).
Terry was the greatest of husbands and fathers — a man who gave everything he had so the people he loved would never go without. He had a rare pair of hands. As a lifelong handyman and mechanic, there was no car he could not bring back to life and we knew him as the man who would say, “Daddy fix.”
He played guitar effortlessly, moving through the deepest catalogue of country music on his 1949 Gibson like it cost him nothing. He was never happier than when he was singing, dancing, cracking a joke, and setting a whole room laughing. He gave even when his own hands were empty, and he carried his hardest days without ever asking a soul for help.
In these past days, more people than we can count have reached out to tell us the same thing — that they always saw how close our little family was, and how much this one man meant to all of us. He was loved beyond measure, and he will be missed the very same way.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the team of angels at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice, whose compassion and care for Terry in his final days will never be forgotten.
Terry will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A GoFundMe has been created to help continue Marilyn’s care in the days ahead; those who wish to support the family can contribute at https://gofund.me/4335700b2.

Incredibly saddened to hear of Terry's passing. We enjoyed many chats about the Toronto Blue Jays as we were both extremely passionate fans!
