Jerry Bailey, a man known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026. Jerry brought laughter into every room he entered, leaving behind a legacy of joy, smiles, and unforgettable stories.

He was the beloved husband of Linda Wilson, with whom he shared a life filled with love, companionship, and plenty of shared laughter.

Jerry’s greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted father and an incredibly proud grandfather. Jerry was predeceased by his beloved son, Ryan Bailey, with whom he is now reunited.

Jerry's legacy lives on through his surviving children and grandchildren:

• Michael Bailey, and his children Chyanne Bailey and Brock Bailey.
• Amy Potts and her husband Richard, alongside grandchildren Sierra Puria (and husband Akhil) and Cameron Potts.
• James Wilson, and his daughter Isla Wilson.
• Brittany Wilson, and her son Dylan Reid.

Jerry’s unique sense of humor, warmth, and ability to find the light in any situation will be deeply missed but forever cherished by everyone who knew him.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We spent a bit of time together - way back when Aunt Edith and Uncle Ish would have the family up to Manitoulin. Though we lost contact through the years he was still a piece of the fabric that made up the Osterkruger and Bailey families. Condolences to Linda and all of his family.
