It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Kenneth Brace Jr. on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in his 75th year.
Beloved son of the late Raymond Brace Sr. and Clara Green, Ray was the loving husband of Ethel (nee Power), with whom he shared 53 years of love and marriage. Cherished father of Kenneth and Keith (Joanne), and proud Grandpa of Ella. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Judy (Pat), Linda, Shirley, Jackie, and Shawn (Donna), and was predeceased by his siblings Terry, Frank, Ron, Debbie, and Darlene.
Ray will be remembered for his deep appreciation of family and friends along with his passion for hunting and fishing. His true joy was spending time at the cottage, in his boat with a fishing line in the water and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He also enjoyed his winters in Florida, where he made many wonderful friends and created countless cherished memories.
Above all, Ray loved his family. Ray leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and friendship. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Ray's life and legacy will be held in Cobourg at a later time.
