Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at Streamway Villa Nursing Home, Cobourg, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late John Hadwen. Loving mother of Doff (Deb). Proud grandmother of Amanda and Dalton. Cherished sister and predeceased by her siblings Archie Williams, Joe Williams, Frank William, Shirley Jackson and Pete Williams.
In keeping with Vera’s wishes cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Streamway Villa Nursing Home.

Doff, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Now our moms can spend more time together. I have memories of your mom driving us on some adventure ..piled kids in the car and away we went. The calls after an equestrian competition as both moms loved to watch on t.v. Now they can regale all there memories. So many more I could go on.
