Passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer. Wendy is survived by her loving daughter Elizabeth, her mother Winnie Gerrow, her brother Doug (Cheryl) and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her husband Robert T. Brown. Wendy dedicated her life to raising her handicapped daughter. She also made afghans which she donated to Northumberland Hills Hospital to sell at the gift shop and Canadian Cancer Society.
At Wendy’s request, cremation will take place. A Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery will take place Friday May 29th, 2026 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated.
Wendy will always live on in our hearts with love.

Knew Wendy from my working days. We often chatted and shared life happenings. Upon my retirement she gifted me a coffee mug depicting an angel. She now, has her wings. R I P my friend.

We have fond memories of Wendy and Elizabeth at church. They never missed a Sunday- Elizabeth greeting at the door and Wendy greeting inside the church. Wendy made beautiful Afghans for charity sales and encouraged Elizabeth when making milk bag mats. She will be missed. Sorry we can’t be at the burial.
