Barb leaves behind her devoted husband, Raymond Lewis; her beloved daughter, Sarah; her son-in-law, Zoltan; her stepson Richard and his wife Catherine; her brother William (Bill), her sister Linda and their families; as well as many dear friends.
Above all else, Barb adored her two grandchildren, Jason and Millie, whom she loved deeply and devotedly. Wow, so sorry to hear of this sweet and cheerful woman's sudden passing. I just spoke with she and her good husband last week in a jovial conversation, so characteristic of Barb, just as they were finishing their shopping. How fleeting...and precious, life is. I am so grateful to have gotten to know this dear lady who lived out her faith with love, joy, a great sense of humour, helpfulness toward others and amazing cooking skills! Heaven's gain. By GOD's amazing grace, l sure hope to meet up again someday! Prayers for GOD's comfort, courage and strength for her family and friends at this sad time.

I have fond memories of Barb from The Encore Club at St, Peter's. As we became aquatinted we found she was living in my Son's neighbourhood and grandchildren attended the same daycare. Many fun-filled engagements. Sincere sympathy to Barb's family from someone who didn't know her for long but appreciated her friendship.
I have very fond memories of Barb when my best friend Bill and I would often hang out in their Granby apartment home. Barb was always ready for a good laugh (as was Linda) and her laughter was so spirited. Bless your heart Barb. I’ll never forget how nice you were. My deepest sympathies to all of your family and friends.

Barb was a good friend of mine for over 25 years. We both adopted children from China and would always celebrate Chinese New Year together as well as birthdays, barbecues, pool parties and many other activities. Barb was an avid theatre goer and I enjoyed attending many plays with her over the years. Sarah, your mom was so proud of you and she adored you, Ray, Zoltan and her grandkids. Although our paths crossed through church a few years back, Barb’s warm and caring spirit left a lasting impression on us. Barb will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her kindness, and the warmth she so naturally brought to everyone around her. Please know that you, your family, and all who loved her are in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve this sudden and heartbreaking loss.
