Passed away on Sunday April 5th, 2026 at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg in his 75th year. Ron was the beloved husband of the late Sharon (Dafoe). Cherished father to Charlotte (Jerry Dempsey) and Randy (Roseanne Dulay). Grandpa to Amanda, Rick, Jake and Josh and great-grandpa to Dimitri and Xavier.
In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Sorry to hear of Ron passing, we worked at Belden Wire at the same time, as well being second cousins. We shared a few laughs together, he was a great guy, for sure. To Randy, and the rest of the family, please accept my condolences, at this sad time. RIP Ron.

We both knew squiggy from being Chris’s coworker He was always fun to visit with when we ran into him onto the street or at Home Depot where I work ( Alex ) He will be missed and will always be one of the good ones.
To Randy and Charlotte. Very sorry to hear about squiggy passing. When I first started at Belden 29 years ago I was trained by squiggy. He was a great trainer and a great friend to have. He will deeply missed by everyone.
