My condolences to Bonnie's family. Even though she was only a few years older than I, I well remember her at SS No.2 Alnwick and walking home with her along the country side road up to the Lewis house at which point she went east to her home and I went west to mine. I remember her music and how my cousin Paul Leether, RIP, worked for the Georges one summer and loved Bonnie for her wonderful pies.
Thinking of the entire George Family at this time on the loss of the ultimate "boy" mom. Bonnie was such a talented lady. The most favourite pyjamas my 3 boys ever had were flannel John Deere Tractor p.j. pants that Bonnie made and I purchased from her at the Roseneath Fair.
My condolences to the George family, so very sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. May treasured memories bring you comfort.
My condolences to Gary, Tom, Dave, Jim, Ted and families. Bonnie was a wonderful neighbour for the many years that we lived on the next farm. I considered her a friend and a role model. She raised 5 amazing sons and still maintained her sense of humour and easy going ways. She will be missed.
