Peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on April 12th 2026 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Stone. Loving mother of Douglas Clement (Pam), Kevin Clement (Nancy) and Beverly Adams. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Tanya), Natasha, Chantelle (Scott), Brittney (Phil), Krystina (Kyle) and Allisha (CJ) and great grandmother of Lochlann, Gracie, Emerlee, Knighton, Ethan, Avyanna and Zeph. Evelyne is predeceased by her sisters Joan Sommerville and Jean Joice. A memorial service will be held in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East Cobourg, on Saturday April 18th, 2026 at 10:30 am. Private family interment in Port Hope Union Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the Northumberland Humane Society or Arthritis Society.
Evelyn’ and my Mom (Annie Ward) worked together many years ago, I have many memories as a child visiting with your Mother and listening to the both of them laugh together and telling stories . Sending heartfelt condolences.

My condolences to the family of Evelyn. Reading of your loss has taken my memory back to the time when Evelyn and I worked at the Golden Plough Lodge and the chats we had at Dr. Hubble's office. May she rest in peace and your sorrows be lifted with time.
I worked with Evelyn at the Golden Plough Lodge for many years. She was a very caring person and a great worker. We had some wonderful and fun times together. I am so sorry for your loss! Hopefully your many memories will help you through the difficult days ahead.
