Passed away peacefully after battling with cancer at home surrounded by family and friends on Thursday April 9th, 2026 at the age of 38. Beloved son of Paul and Irene (nee Greydanus) Raycraft. Cherished brother to Alicia (Brad) Fitzgerald, Julianna (Bob) Fitzgerald, and Maria. Loving uncle to Alexis, Mackenzie, Samantha and Logan. Peter will be dearly missed by all of his aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thank you to Nurse Ainsley, Dr. Mule and the doctors and nurses at the cancer clinic at the Cobourg Hospital. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to all the of the extended family and friends that were there to support them during Peter’s illness.
Visitation will take place at Grace Christian Reformed Church, Cobourg on Saturday May 2nd, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank or the Schizophrenia Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
