It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our much loved son, brother, father, uncle and friend .
Scott was dearly loved by his mum Taran and late father Bill and his brothers Evan (Eileen) of Cresswell and Matthew (Alycia) of Baltimore. He will terribly missed by stepson Chase and daughters Leah and Emily. Scott will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Chelsea, Caleb, Aidan, Avery, Madison and Landon. He has joined his late wife Hilary (Cane) for their April Birthdays.
We would like to thank his friend Dino for giving life saving CPR while waiting for the ambulance. Also the staff at Vancouver General Hospital, and specifically his nurses and doctors in ICU for your unwavering compassionate care of Scott and us for 4 gruelling days. We will always remember your kindness and dedication provided.
To David Cunnington, thank you for always being there for Scott as such a dear friend.
Scott had the heart of a kitten and lived his life to the fullest in his short 55 years. Fly free Scott with no tether and be at peace.
Friends may gather at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King Street East, on Saturday April 18, 2026 from 1 pm to 4 pm with words of remembrance at 3:30.
Donations in memory of Scott may be made to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice.
