So sorry to hear the news of Scott's passing. So many of us will remember him as that young guy, riding a skateboard downtown after school and on weekends. Hilary and Scott will be together in spirit world watching everyone they love live long and happy lives.

I’ve known Scott since high school. He was always ready with a funny story to make you laugh when we were younger. I would run into him occasionally in our adult years and even though you knew he was having his own struggles, he would always say something to make me laugh. He was a great guy who had some struggles. My condolences to his family and friends.

So, so sad to hear of Scott's passing. Such a wonderful young man. An honour to know him. God bless his family and friends, and may you be healed time and by the wonderful memories of him.

In life, you may come across someone that changes your life, or, that, you will never forget, Scott, or Scotland, as he liked to be referred to, on occasion, was that person for me. From 2009-13, I spent most of my time around Scott, I would consider him a good friend, he taught me alot about arborculture, tree work and life, in general. Scott's influence on arborist throughout Northumberland County is unmatched, his knowledge on trees was extensive. Most people knew Scott from working along side him at Ontario Line Cleaning throughout Ontario, he was humorous, intelligent, fearless and thrived on adrenaline, I'll miss you Scott, we had lots of good times, thanks for everything. Chase, wherever you are, I know what you and Scott ment to each other, and I'm thinking about you, and the Wharram family. Scott, you are free from the pain, and I will never forget you, and will always think of you, when I look up in the trees. Joe Gibbons

My deepest condolances. I will always remember Scott as one of the fastest tree climbers I have known and as an avid movie lover. I remember watching some of his favourite laserdisc movies in the basement of his house in Cobourg. Blade Runner and Once Were Warriers are the first that come to mind. Scott and I had many great times together in our younger years. Ventures to Toronto to the Silver Snail as Scott was a pretty avid comic collector as well as working various jobs together for his father.
