Peacefully at Ed’s House Hospice on Wednesday March 25th in her 88th year. Beloved wife of David O’Flynn. Loving mother of John Carter (Elaine) and the late Bill Carter (Anne-Marie). Cherished grandmother of Amanda, John and Jason. Dear sister of the late Wilfred Higgins and the late Gordon Higgins. Special friend of John & Cheryl Dennis and Mike & Emily Dennis. A funeral service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Thursday April 2, 2026 at 11:30 am. Interment Cobourg Union Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice or charity of your choice.

David My wife Anne and I were deeply sadened to hereof Gloria;s passing. we cherished our moments talking to her and you. Although when she would stop me to chat, what she really wanted was to spend some time with my dog Charley (who she always called him Archie). It will be difficult to walk by and not bring back those pleasant memories and long to hear voice again.

I am really sorry to hear of Gloria ‘s passing. A lovely lady who was always full of fun laughter. She was perfect playing Mrs Clause to David’s Santa. My heart goes out to David and the family at this very sad time Rest in peace Gloria.
