Peacefully at the Extendicare Port Hope on Wednesday , March 25th, 2026, Stanley Charles Durrant at 87 years of age. Loving Husband to the late Valerie Durrant. Dear Father of Tracy Durrant, Suzanne Durrant, late Michelle (Shelley) Gauthier (Wayne), and the late Jacqueline Durrant. Grandfather of Collin (Victoria), Matthew (Sydney), Kristopher, Nicole (Bryan), Amanda (Aaron), Samantha (James), Taylor (Mason), Cassi-Lynne, Jon, Kayla and great grandfather to 17 Great grandchildren.
Cremation with a Celebration of Life Gathering to be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Friday April 10th, 2026 from 11 am until 2 pm. Interment of cremated remains at Welcome Cemetery at a later date.

Dear Durrant Family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Stan (your father, grandfather, great grandfather). I just heard the news today when the retirees were meeting at Tim Hortons in Whitby. It brings back so many fond memories when I worked for Stan and we all had stories to share about him. Stan was my boss (I was his administrative assistant) in the Technology Trades Department for several years when the trades programs were run out of the Oshawa Campus at Durham College. The Trades programs eventually moved to the new Whitby Campus. Stan took his position very seriously, but at the same time we did have lots of fun and laughs. He always had a story to tell. He was a very considerate person and will be missed. Rest in peace Stan. Linda Dillon
I saw daily at Victoria - he was one of my favourite folks … a tad crusty on the outside but big softie on the inside. I was sorry he had to leave us but he will be glad to be with Val and his daughters. Godspeed Stan I will miss u Hugs to his family Jayne
