My sincerest condolences to the Fullerton family; I worked with Dave while at D55 in the late 1980's as he was a detective on an overlapping shift. He was the absolute consummate professional and I fondly remember how supportive he was. As a new and very impressionable officer, I might not have appreciated it at the time, but reflecting back, he was one of those “old school” detectives that taught me so much. Thank you for that! Rest in Peace.
My first memory of meeting, David was visiting his grandmother.Who was my great aunt, Ethel, Baldwin. When moved to Peterborough we, enjoyed our visits with his parents as well as my great aunt. As cousins, we were able to keep in contact over the years. We extend our sincere condolences to all his family, and we pray God's blessing for you all.

My sincere condolences to the family of my cousin, David Fullerton. We know that David is in the presence of the Lord and with his family that have gone on before him, that is the blessed hope we have in Jesus Christ. The scripture says in Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Love & Prayers, cousin Norma-Jean

I offer my deepest sympathy to David's family. I occupy the condo just below his. I did not know him well since I'm relatively new to the condo complex but he was a frienly and welcoming gentleman to a newcomer.
Hi Anne and family: Sorry to hear about the death of your beloved husband David, father of the three boys! David was one of my wardens at St. Saviour’s in the 1970s. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to travel from Nova Scotia to be with you at the funeral. May God’s Word comfort all of you. Nobody will take away your memories of David. Michael & Karen, Central Onslow, NS.
To the Fullerton family, I offer my sincere condolences. Along with David, my deceased husband- Roy Smith- was also part of the "platoon" of retired police officers who met regularly for many years at the Dutch Oven on Thursday mornings in Cobourg. It was always a very happy and supportive group of police officers sharing the joy of retirement through many stories, laughs, and lots of ideas about how to improve the policing situation in local towns. David's joy of traveling provided regular reports of adventures in exotic parts of the world seen from cruise ships... I also remember the MANY Tuesday evenings at the Victoria Park Bandshell on our folding chairs enjoying the beautiful live music of the Concert Band of Cobourg, munching on treats. Very happy retirement days for all. As David's passing is gradually integrated by all family members, may there be a peaceful heart for everyone. Madeleine Thibault-Smith

I’m sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. I knew Dave when he was in the Detective office in 55 Division. Later when I joined the Cobourg Police I was fortunate enough to have met up with him on several occasions. He will be missed.
Dave was one of my Sergeants when I started working at 55 Division in the early 80s. Really enjoyed working for him and with him, fond memories, he will be missed.
