Passed away Sunday February 8th, 2026 at the age of 47. Beloved son of Sharon and the late Ray Mathews. Cherished father to Hannah and Michael. Loving brother to Michelle (Kimble), Jennifer (Doug), Melissa (Jeff), Sarah and Joshua. Uncle of Faith, Cheyanne, Mariah, Dameon, Lillian, Ethan, Leah, Mia, Deacan, and Karra.
Jason will be dearly missed by many friends and community member both in Cobourg and Kingston.
Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg om Saturday March 28th, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm.
If desired, memorial donations to Ed’s House Hospice or Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation- Mental Health Services would be appreciated by the family.

I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Jason. I remember him being a strong soccer player and kind hearted individual at PHHS where we went to school. My condolences to the family.
