September 8, 1943 - February 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts the family of Betty May announce her passing at the Northumberland Hills Hospital Thursday February 19, 2026 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years Bill and daughter Susan. Loved mother of Mike (Lisa). Betty will be greatly missed by her son-in-law Tim. Proud grandmother to Wyatt May (Caroline), Joshua Corkery (Andrea), Emilee Corkery and Danylle Cullen (Shawn) and great-grandmother to Peyton and Wyatt. Betty was a lifetime Cobourg resident and her presence will be greatly missed by her extended family, friends and her community. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the staff at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for your care and compassion for Betty. As per Betty’s wishes cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Betty was an amazing woman. My first job in Cobourg was with her at IGA I was 22. She was my Trainer that's 41 years ago.. wow!! Always enjoyed our visits where ever we wood run into each other throughout the years Prayers and condolences to all the family.
