Passed away on Saturday February 28th, 2026 at the Golden Plough Lodge in his 83rd year. David was the beloved son of Robert Weeks and Doris Johnston. Loving brother of Marilyn Mosher, the late Richard Weeks. Cherished uncle of Lorrie Krebs (James Bell), Jody Krebs and Jennifer Weeks. David will be reunited with his beloved dog, Oscar. A Celebration of Life will be held MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St E, Cobourg Sunday, March 29th, 2026 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm with words of remembrance at 1:00 pm. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at the Golden Plough Lodge and Dr. Reynolds for their exceptional care and support. If desired, memorial donations to the Cobourg Legion – Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Dearest Dave you were a staple for me at a time in my life and I am so grateful for your kind heart and gentle soul. We had so many laughs I will always remember but something took over that we had no control over you were strong tho and fought hard to the end. Rest in peace my dear friend, the world needs more people like you.
