My sincere condolences to Paul’s family and friends. Paul was unique, and brilliant. Paul was a writer. He could write anywhere whenever inspiration took hold. And what he wrote was amazing. He had a remarkable gift. He loved his family, everyone in it, and especially his nieces Colleen and Jennifer, and his nephews John, Paul and Michael. He loved his friends. He was forever loyal to them and they to him, especially Bob. Devoutly Christian, he was raised Anglican and became Roman Catholic in his early twenties. He completed the first year of a theology bachelor’s degree after completing a B.A. in English. In no particular order: The Home Insurance Company, Capellini pasta, beer, the Blue Jays, his dogs Toby, Jenna and Madden, genealogy, Florida, The Globe & Mail and other newspapers, shortwave ham radio VE3 VNH, The Canadian Legion. Paul had no handyman skills whatsoever. When told he was like a cross between Mr. Bean and Nyles Frasier of the T.V. show Frasier, he laughed. He could always laugh at himself. If life continues in some form after death, Paul is still puzzled by people, helping them, and writing. It was a privilege to know Paul and to love him. Suzanne, his ex-wife.

Connie Roias Farrell - March 10, 2026 I wish to offer my condolences to Paul Coleman's family. God rest his soul. Paul and I worked together years ago and we enjoyed a wonderful friendship for about five years during the late 1970s. Paul organized some of our work colleagues to play softball in the summer and volleyball in the winter and after the games we would end up at a local pub to socialize. These were wonderful times for us. Paul was a great writer and wrote beautiful poetry. What I would like to ask the family is: Did Paul ever publish any of his poems? Paul was kind, generous, intelligent, witty and an amazing individual. I loved him and will miss him for the rest of my life. Connie Roias Farrell
