Calvin Melrose - March 6, 2026

My deepest condolences to all of Geoff's family. I have lost a true & good friend. We worked a lot of Lions Club projects together and shared his Irish humor. Geoff & I explored a lot of Cobourg area by car as this part of Ontario was new territory for me, having come from Montreal & Toronto. I have lived in Calgary for the last 15 years but kept in touch with Geoff via phone or Email, I will miss our friendship greatly.

Edith Newell - February 23, 2026

Awfully sad to get this news. I have great memories of Geoffrey in my younger years, he was always very kind and good at talking his way out of trouble, always up to some mischief or other. We reestablished our friendship later in life. He came over here on holiday and it was great to see him, he still had that twinkle in his eyes. I had a couple of lovely holidays with him in Coburg. Some great memories to look back on. Condolences to all the family at this sad time.

Carol Bajina - February 23, 2026

An end of an era. Remembering Geoffrey for his humour and kindness. Great company and a marvelous advocate for Canada. Sorry not to see that twinkle in his eyes again. Lots of love to all the family, so sad, but as he would have said himself, he had a great innings!

Dorothy Cram - February 20, 2026

So sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Geoff. I was with Greg when Uncle Geoff fitted him for his suit he wore to Robin’s wedding. Greg always spoke so fondly of his Uncle Geoff. I’m so sorry for your loss. Love, Dorothy

Phoebe Wright - February 20, 2026

Sweet and quick witted, Geoff had a real twinkle in his eye. He married into the Jex sisterhood, a group of four lovely women, one of whom was my mother-in-law Gerry. Sister Pat and Geoff had a beautiful family and were living proof of the value of a simple life. Geoff was a treasure. My condolences to family and friends.

Marguerite Langford - February 20, 2026

I have very fond memories of Geoff. He was my Lawn Bowling partner. He was always so very interesting. He would make me laugh with his very funny sayings and stories. He will be missed.
