Peacefully at Ed’s house on February 5th in her 96th year. She was pre deceased by her brother Harold and her sister Hazel. Orletta will be deeply missed by her husband Douglas. Cherished mother to Gary (Rosanne) and Gayle (David). Loving grandmother to Nathan, Todd, Steven, and Bobbi. Great grandmother to Liam, Reese, Riley, Raya, Marshal, Nash, Xzavier and Zach.
A memorial service will be held at Old St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Colborne on Saturday Feb 28th at 1pm. 45 King St E, Colborne, ON K0K 1S0

Doug, Gary, Gayle and family, We have so many wonderful memories of Orletta. She was a weekly visitor to my beauty salon in Colborne, we shared a lots of visits and lots of laughs. There was the time when she called me and said she wasn't sure she had paid for her appointment, I said I didn't have anyway of checking it and suggested she buy a lottery ticket, no luck, but we always laughed about the day. The Simpsons were neighbours of Doug and Orletta, and always were grateful to have such good and caring friends next door. Our sympathy to all of you. Barry and Carolynn
