Darlene passed away peacefully with family by her side on Feb 5th 2026. Predeceased by her devoted husband Bruce Brownlee. Loving mother of Carson Brough, Carol-Ann Carruthers, Bill Brough (Christine). Step-mother to Charlene Labelle (Ron), Dwayne Brownlee (Mindy).
Adored by her grandchildren Kevin (Samantha), Shawn, Alexis (Justin), Kiefer (Hannah) and her step grandchildren Meghan (David), Austin (Liberti), Hayes and Campbell. Great grandmother to Brooks, Corrie, Andie and Silver. Pre deceased by siblings Winnie, Gladys, Glenavera, Larry, Charles Pat and Velma. She will be greatly missed by siblings Laverne (Mary lou), Agatha (Rodney), Carson, Clinton and many niece and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Darlene will be interred with Bruce at Baysville Cemetery at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and a time has yet to be determined.
Memorial donations can be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital (Palliative care unit) who provided care above and beyond during her final days.
So very sorry for your loss, Darlene was an amazing lady, her smile lit up a room, her positive attitude, huge heart will be missed, she remains forever in those blessed to have known her, take care of each other family was her most precious.
