Brian informed me of John's passing yesterday. There are no words to adequately express the loss of a loved partner. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the funeral service on Wednesday as I am not supposed to drive on the highway anymore. Please take care and let me know if there is anything I can do

I will miss our comical interactions especially when he would jokingly pout at the pharmacy counter because they were picking something up but not for him. Lynne & Family - Sincere condolences at this difficult time.

Please except our condolences to the family John was a friend for 50 plus years going back to our special time in Lahr. John (Batavas) and our gang had too many good times and were luck to have special friends to see us through them. From one Lahr brother to another you will be missed. Rest easy my friend.

Dear Lynne and family My condolences for your loss, I was shocked to hear of his passing. John and I were great friends over our high school years in Lahr from 71-75. I remember seeing John and some of the old gang at the reunion in Ottawa. I remember when this new fangled internet technology came to be and we found each other on Facebook and even though we usually only shared a few emails and Christmas greetings it was nice to hear from my old friend. I do remember trying to reach out, but you seemed to offline which I now understand why. I'm sad to think all I'll have of my friend are the memories we shared. Lynne and family may your memories of John help ease your pain.

I am trying to find the words to let Masson family know how much John meant to us. Lynne my dear friend such a loss, John was very devoted to his family and friends. my life has been so enriched having him in it. The loss is beyond words.
