Robert Farthing beloved husband of Helen Farthing (nee Telesnicki), passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday January 13, 2026, in his 80th year. Robert is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Evelyn Farthing (nee Carpenter). Robert will be missed by his family in Scotland, George and Annie Lovie, and Amy Mackenzie, and their families. He will be missed by his in-laws Joe Telesnicki, Mary Blake, Irene Lokietek, Valentina Telesnicki and Bill Britt (the late Janina) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sincere thanks to friends, family and neighbours for all their support throughout Robert’s illness. With gratitude to all the doctors and nurses involved in Roberts care. Special thanks to Dr. Chopra, Dr. Safdar, Dr Vasanthamohan, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Mule. The staff of Northumberland Hills Hospital Oncology Unit. Thank you. A celebration of life will be held February 28, 2026 from 12:30pm to 4:00pm at The Mill Restaurant 990 Ontario Street, Cobourg K9A 5M1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Northumberland Hills Hospital.
