I had the pleasure of knowing Brooke through mutual friends and then years later came to know her as a parent. As one of Maxwell’s kindergarten teachers, I knew her as an amazing mother to her cherished children. To Brooke’s family: the heartbreak will lessen, keep each other close and know your amazing daughter and sister will always be a part of your lives.

I taught Brooke in grade nine and was re-acquainted with her at St. Mary-Grafton where I had the privilege of teaching her kids as a supply teacher. She was always at the school, helping with hot lunches, organizing events, participating in the Terry Fox run with the school and being an awesome mom to her children. What a loss for the community. She certainly will be missed by many but her spirit will live on in her three amazing children. Deepest sympathies, Donald, Cathy and Megan. She was a very special lady ❤️

Brooke was a great friend. She was larger than life and an incredibly loving mom. I will miss her sarcastic comments and her colourful take on life. I will miss seeing her at bowling, going to the zoo and tobogganing together. I will miss our park play dates. Simply, I will miss my friend! ❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss. She had such a lively happy spirit the few times I was around her at the family golf after party. She became a friend on facebook and I loved to see all the pictures of the kids and all the things they got up too. I think the biggest one was seeing them outside filthy dirty just having a ball the way kids should. You could feel the love she had for those kids in every picture. I'm sure she will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
