Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Diego. We had the privilege of knowing Diego and over the years we enjoyed many good laughs with him and his special sense of humour. We could always count on him to attend our Charron / Saari gatherings in North Bay and he always took great pictures for us. We will cherish those memories. He was a great guy and we will miss him dearly.

I worked with Diego in the trf. loved his passion for cars especially Ferraris. Smart man always in a good mood. il miss him

So sorry to hear about Diego's passing. (I knew him as Dick Fabris). He was my boss at work in the early 2000's and I considered him as a friend also. He was one of the 'originals' at the TRF, and had a great deal of knowledge and experience that he very kindly shared with me, in my new position as panel operator for A Crew at the time. He always made it clear that he had your back, and I gained a lot of confidence working for him. I also fondly remember his stories of marshalling car racing, for which he was very passionate, and also his photography of life on the streets of Toronto, amongst other subjects. He was a very fine person and I am proud to say that I knew him as a friend and a mentor.

Deepest Sympathy to you all on the passing of your father. Over the years him and Lyn had become part of our extended Saari family. His humour, love for life and friendship meant so much to us all, especially my dearly departed sister, Bev Charron . Dear Jennifer and Jason, though we never met, your father was a kind, giving, gentle soul ♥️. He was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. We lived next door in Creighton for many years. Your grandmother taught me to knit when I was 12 years old and still knit to this day, beautiful memories ❤️ and tears as she would make me "rip " our mistakes or start over She was an excellent teacher. Her boys were her everything!!! Beautiful family. Blessings to you both and may your Dad, Diego, rest in peace 🙏

Dear Denis sincere condolences 🙏 on the death of Diego (Dick). He was a kind and gentle soul. I did enjoy our visits so much. He loved Creighton and enjoyed coming to the reunions when he could. He loved to drive up to Creighton to see family and friends. He was loved and will never be forgotten ❤️. He will be missed. Rest in peace Diego my dear friend!!!!

Dear Jason, Jennifer and the entire Fabris family, I met Diego at the Cobourg Photography Club a number of years ago. He loved going on road trips and taking numerous photos along the way. I was invited to a few of these outings. He had a boomimg voice, a great sense of humour, a hearty laugh, and many wonderful stories. He enjoyed sharing photography tips with me, also.
