Sorry for your loss Bev and family. Our sincere condolences Kathy and David Howard
My sincere condolences to the family. Mr. Chrisomalis was my Principal at Baltimore from JK and up. When my Mum accidentally sent me to JK on the first day of school (not realizing kindergarten started later), Mr. Chrisomalis took me by the hand and join him as he walked classroom to classroom, to welcome all of the students to the new school year. I was a very shy kid, and scared kid, but he was such a calming presence, and always took the time to chat. When he learned I played piano, he encouraged me to join the choir, and I have never had so much singing in my entire life. He was such a gifted choir teacher, who brought such a contagious level of joy to singing as a group. I hope these and other stories from his former students bring some comfort during this time.
Sincere condolences to Peter's family. A Donation has been made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Mr. Chrisomalis was my Principal at Roseneath. He taught my Gr.4 Math class. He was one of my favourite teachers at Roseneath. My favourite memory was that during a weather storm, he would have us turn off class lights and we would sit on the floor while he played the guitar. The teachers who make the biggest impact on our lives, are the ones we remember most. He was one of them. Our deepest condolences to his family.
Peter hired me to join the staff at Baltimore Public School where I was very fortunate to teach for most of my career. I was incredibly lucky to have Peter as my principal; a true professional who respected and truly appreciated his colleagues. He would often share a kind word and at times a catchy song. Peter always wanted what was best for the children and worked hard to achieve a "learning while caring' community. My sincere condolences to the Chrisomalis family.
Bev, Our thoughts are with you Stephen, Michael and your family Danielle, Melissa & Michelle Kennedy

DEAR Beverly So sorry for your loss of Peter. I enjoyed working for Peter as supply teacher. He was always so friendly and helpful. I made a donation to Ed House.
Dear Bev, Stephen and Michael, While I am saddened by Peter's passing, I will remember Him fondly: sitting at the kitchen table doing word puzzles together with you Bev. Also, hearing teacher friends talking about him as a well respected teacher and Principal. It was good knowing him as a much loved father to two boys that our son kept company with and such a fun person at our mixed Sorority parties over many years. He is now with His Lord and Saviour in whom He placed his confidence in, as promised in 2 Corinthians 5:8. Hugs to you personally Bev.
My condolences to you,Beverley. Stephen and Michael. May your memories of him be a comfort at this difficult time..

Mike, I am sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I am sure your memories of him will bring you comfort.
I have many wonderful memories of Peter when he was my Principal at Baltimore Public School. During the building of the school addition, he was continually monitoring the progress. When it opened in September 1992 it was (and still is) a great facility for which Peter deserves much of the credit. He was an excellent Principal. He was always fair, kind, considerate and had a great sense of humour. It was a pleasure working for him. My sincere condolences to his family.
I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing . I was very fortunate to have Peter as principal at Roseneath Centennial when I was a brand new teacher just starting my career. Peter provided the guidance, support and encouragement needed for a rookie. He was a great principal who cared deeply about the well being of students and staff alike. I hope that the memories you have will give you comfort at this difficult time.
My deepest condolences to the family. Peter was my Principal at Baltimore P.S. He was an excellent principal and mentor. He was a caring principal that interacted with the students. He was often caught playing his guitar in a classroom. The Baltimore School is his legacy as he designed a public school like no other allowing teachers to have an input and looking to the technological future. He will be missed by all that knew him.
My deepest condolences

Bev, Stephen, Michael and families. My heart breaks for you with the loss of your dad. He was loving, caring, and larger than life. I respected him, so much so that I followed him from one school to another. We challenged each other with word games and puzzles….well, he challenged ME-he was far above my abilities. I was saddened when he shared that he was ready to move on to the next journey. I will never forget him! May your memories sustain you through all the difficult times ahead. Rest in peace, my friend.
I knew Peter when he was the principal at Percy Centennial P.S. in Warkworth. He was supportive to the teachers and, somehow, seemed to know every student by name. May loving memories of him sustain you in the days ahead.

Bev, so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. Hold the memories close.
To Bev and Peter's family and friends... I was saddened to learn of Peter's passing today. During my 35+ years living and working in Cobourg I had the pleasure of knowing Bev (largely through my regular appearances at Ready Print), and through her getting to know Peter, whose reputation as an excellent, dedicated educator was already widely established. He was a pleasure to know, and to talk to, even if only a brief conversation on a busy streetcorner. And any lover of singing is a step above in my book. He will be missed. Brad Halls - Fergus, Ontario (formerly of Cobourg)
Bev, Stephen, and Michael, Peter was an excellent educator and an even better person. A man who loved words and puzzles. He was always eager for a challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed having Peter as the principal at Baltimore Public School. He was a very engaging person who was prolific on a number of topics. Recently, I was pleased he joined the Baltimore alumni at the Best Western for a social gathering. It was a great opportunity to share a few laughs. We're all going to miss him dearly. Sincere condolences to the entire family. Peter George Chrisomalis September 28, 1942 - December 16, 2025 "Rest in Peace"
