Andreas, please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear partner for life and wife, Bonnie Grace Bird. She was a lovely woman, the soul of kindness, always willing to lend a hand. Her smile lit up her beautiful face, and her greeting would always ask, "How are you?" Her name fully embodied her personality. Those of us who were in your home for a workshop or meeting experienced her gracious hospitality. The community has lost a person who contributed much.
So sorry, Andreas, to hear of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your family.
So sorry to hear that Bonnie has passed. I have many fond memories of working with her when she was Executive Secretary of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Bonnie was always ready to help in any way that was needed. She was 100% reliable, pleasant and friendly even in difficult situations, and she managed to steer that fine line between being professional and yet having fun. I miss her.

Bonnie was such a nice lady. Her smile was contagious, we will miss her. Gail
Andreas - you have our deepest sympathy. You are in our prayers as long as Aunt Bonnie. Cara has many fond memories of both you from when she was a young girl. I loved visiting the cabin this summer although I must have set a record for the longest trip to your place. My fondest memories of Bonnie is her smile and her helping me write a book. I remember both of you at our wedding. Both of you will always be in our hearts. Once again, you have our deepest sympathy.
When I think about you, Bonnie, I'm reminded of a lot of things I have to be thankful for. Thank you for evening walks after dinner on Christmas Eve. Thank you for visits to the cabin, picking up acorns and my first and ONLY naked outdoor shower! Thank you for your kindness to animals. Thank you for being mindful of our planet. Thank you for your green thumb. Thank you for colourful jello salads. Thank you for gifts of honey. Thank you for your faith. May you have eternal peace.
Andreas and Family, My heart is deeply saddened by the passing of Bonnie after such a long and brave battle with cancer. She was a truly beautiful lady—inside and out—and I feel profoundly blessed to have known her over the many years at Roseneath United Church. Her kindness, grace, and the warmth she carried will remain in my memories forever. With heartfelt sympathy, Carol Ottink
We were so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. She was such a warm and welcoming person; her quiet presence felt by all around her. She will be dearly missed. Our thoughts are with you, Andreas, as you go through this difficult time.
Bonnie was synonymous with Starfest. In the early days, she was invariably one of the first people you'd run into as she’d be helping man the registration desk. Bonnie was outgoing, engaging, and kind. She was someone I chatted with every year that I attended, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She had the knack of making everyone feel welcome: and at home they were – when at Starfest.
Dear Andreas and Family, I was saddened to hear that Bonnie has passed. She was very personable and a pleasure to converse with. Remember the many fond memories you made together. She will be missed by her many friends and acquaintances. Thinking of you. Sincere condolences to the entire family. Bonnie Grace Bird December 31, 1947 - November 29, 2025 "Rest in Peace"

My sincere condolences, Andreas! When I was a member of the Northumberland Photography Club, she was always friendly and most helpful.
My condolences to Andreas. Bonnie was a great lady and a real help to me when we all were members of Club 39. Rest in peace my friend. Elva

I've lost my dear friend, Bonnie, and our community has as well. She was the kindest and most thoughtful person to all who met her. She devoted hours to our Roseneath United Church, the Roseneath Fair and Club 39. Her smile was contagious. She made the world a better place. Remember always, Anne xo
To Bonnie’s Family Sorry for your loss. Knew Bonnie from the Roseneath Church. Mavis George was my mother and spoke fondly of Bonnie. Deepest Sympathy God Bless
Serving at the Registration Desk at StarFest was not the same this year, without Bonnie. How apt it is that her middle name was Grace, because truly, she was a woman of grace and kindness. She was also a person of great faith; may the peace she now experiences console you, Andreas, and all family and friends.
I am so very sorry to read of your wife's passing Andreas. To you, and your family, I wish strength as you try to find reasoning for the past and appreciation for the many great memories. Blessings to everyone through the challenging days ahead.
