Ben passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Ben was a beloved son to Jeff and Debbie Beaver, and the treasured grandson of the late Jessie & Max Beaver and the late Jim & Virginia Ferguson. He was the devoted and caring brother of Shari (Brendan Johnston) Beaver, and the proud uncle who adored Rowan and Wyatt Johnston. He will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
There are so many stories to share about Ben’s love for hunting, fishing, and flying around on his four-wheeler—moments that reflected his adventurous spirit and the joy he found in the outdoors. His smile was one of a kind, and its absence will be felt every day.
A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at the Alderville Community Centre on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital – ICU Unit would be appreciated by the family.

Jeff, Debbie, Shari and family, 21 years ago you welcomed me into your home and I met Ben. Ben taught me how much strength, courage and resilience one person can have. Jeff and Debbie, you taught me how family can come together with love and laughter to get through the hardest of times. I will miss Ben's big smile, and will say one more time, "Bye Ben". 💕 Tammy
Love and condolences to all of Ben’s family 🤗❤️

My sincerest condolences to the Beaver family. And to all the friends who were lucky enough to have Ben be a part of their lives. I'm honoured to have known Ben. I got to really know him in his teen years. He definitely had a big heart and was full of kindness. A little bit bashful at times, but he could always make a person smile or give them a good chuckle over something. Ben was always welcome in our home, and I know he will be sadly missed by many. Ben may your light shine bright, and may you soar with all the greatness you are. Don't be surprised if my boy is there to greet you with open arms. Be at peace young man. Lots of love Angela Lots of love
