Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, with her family by her side on Saturday November 8th, 2025 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Lloyd Van Dam. Loving mother of Sandra Arthur (Ford) and Lori-Ann Van Dam (Ken Lipa). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Katie), Kyle, Matthew and Mitchell and great grandmother of Carolyn and Lilly. Dear sister of Daphne Dingwall, Sue Babcock (Carl) and the late Jean Currin. At Carol’s request there will be no visiting or service. A private graveside service will be held at Centreton Cemetery at a later date. If desired donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.

Our condolences. Aunt Carol was an amazing woman. I will never forget the times in Centerton as a child, and how welcoming she and Lloyd were for my family through the years. She was also an amazing lifelong friend to my mother, Margaret, and I will always be grateful.
That mischievous twinkle in her eyes. The ready, and genuine smile. A power house and bright light that will shine in your hearts, always. God's strength, comfort, guidance and love surround you, support you, enfold you.
