It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Mildred “Gail” Pattison announces her passing. Gail was born on October 10, 1949, to William Dusenbury and Lulu Winifred (Phillips). She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Robert (Bob) Malcolm Pattison, raising their family and building a home filled with warmth, love and laughter.
Gail wore many hats throughout her life, always doing whatever was necessary — but her most important role was keeping their home running while Bob drove transport during the week. She raised three children and kept the family healthy between farm chores, hockey practices, and community events.
She was a wonderful sister and a second mom to many in the community, lovingly known as “Mom P.” No matter if you were her child or not, you could always call her for a ride home, Gail could be relied upon by anyone, anytime. Her kindness and steady presence touched everyone who knew her.
Gail will be forever loved and remembered by her late husband, Bob; her children Ron (Erin Peirce), Tracy (Scott Rivers), and Rob (Niki Dunk); and her siblings, the late Diane (Gary) Johnston, the late Alan Dusenbury, Nancy (J ) Ruff, Debbie (Joe ) Panipinto, Mona (Pete) Beitschat, William (Jen) Dusenbury , and sister-in-law Gwen (Ron) Mercer. She was a loving Nana to Wyatt (Rosalind) Pattison, Andrew Holland, Mackenzie (Dallas) Richard, Trinity MacFarlane, Serena MacFarlane, Karissa Pattison, Amy Pattison, and Owen Pattison, and a proud great-grandmother to Levi, Paisley, and Charlie. She will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held outdoors at the farm on Saturday, November 1st, at 327 Salem Road, Stirling, Ontario, with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to join in honouring Gail’s life and legacy.
We will also be celebrating and honouring her late husband, Bob, who passed on March 23, 2020, when a proper service could not be held. They will be lovingly reunited and celebrated together. Please stay for Refreshments after the celebration.
Forever missed, always loved, and never forgotten — our mom, sister, Nana, aunt, and friend, Gail Pattison, reunited at last with our beloved dad, brother, uncle, Papa, and friend, Bob Pattison.

Dear Tracy, Ron and Rob and family We are all sad to hear about your dear Mother. She is now with your amazing Dad. Tracy, I just want to offer my deepest condolences to you and your family. It was a pleasure to meet your dear Mom a few months ago. The love and care you all had for her and each other was so evident and so touching. I hope that love and those memories help comfort you in this difficult time.
