We are heartbroken to share that Sean Publow passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on October 6, 2025, at his home in London Ontario.
Sean was the proud and devoted father of Elsie, the beloved son of Paul Publow and his wife Pat, and Laura Roberge and her husband Rene. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Carleigh (Tomasz), Mark (Natalia), and Erica (Maximilian); his nieces Sophie, Charlotte, and Annabella; and his nephews Louis and Cole. Sean also held a special place in the hearts of his grandmother, Giuseppina Ballone, and his uncles, Maurizio and William.
Anybody who knew Sean knew him as a free and fun spirit—he did things his way, in his own time. He loved his family deeply. He was funny, a great friend, an engaging conversationalist, and had a truly magnetic personality. He was an avid reader and could freely converse on any topic. As a brother he was outstanding, and his siblings adored him. He was the pillar of the “Publow Crew.”
Those who knew Sean throughout his life also knew him to be a fighter. From the very beginning of his young life, he faced his health challenges with courage and determination, never giving up and always searching and finding a way forward. He took that attitude into his everyday life as well. He created a full and meaningful life, marked by his resilience and
his ability to connect with others.
Sean felt his greatest achievement and joy came from being a daddy to his little angel Elsie. Those who saw him in that role would agree—he was the ultimate daddy to his little girl. They were inseparable and they enjoyed a closeness that few people can ever relate to. Sean was one of a kind, a man with a huge heart, and a bigger than life presence that will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him,

Laura and Rene. Oh My. There are hardly any words to describe how you must be feeling at the loss of your precious Sean. He is your heart and he will always remain your heart. He will always be with you through his daughter and your other heart, Elsie. I am sending you love and peace as you somehow get yourselves through the next while … and forever.
We were saddened to hear of Sean's passing. We have fond memories of the times he spent with Eric and the guys around the house. Seems like a lifetime ago. Our thoughts and prayers for all his family and friends, especially his wife and young daughter.

Dear Publow Family, Sean was our neighbor in Mississauga (years ago), and he was exceptionally kind and funny. Always polite, and could make you laugh with his hilarious one liners. We are deeply saddened to hear about your loss. Our condolences to your family, and may he rest in peace.

I was lucky enough to have had Sean as a friend in Public school and in High School. He always wore a smile and always managed to make you laugh.
