Under the most dedicated care of the staff and volunteers of Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice, Craig passed away peacefully on September 14th. He leaves behind Frances (nee Wall) after 68 joyful years of togetherness, daughter Patricia Ann, son David Craig, grandchildren Zoe, Mitchell and Cameron, and three great-grandchildren Connor, Logan, and Adeline.
He and Fran loved to travel the world with Stu and Norm, taking pictures, collecting rocks, buying pottery, and gathering driftwood. Craig’s wide and varied interests of tinkering with machinery, riding motorcycles, extracting honey, tilling the garden, driving tractors, making wine, and reading generated many experiences and funny stories to be told and retold for years.
Craig had an extensive and rewarding career, laterally with Ontario Hydro that took him and the family to multiple cities across the country where his kind personality touched many colleagues, neighbours, and friends. He will be missed.
