Loving mother of Tony White, Shawn White, Kimberly Pearen (Steve), James White (Denise), Joan Huffman (Chris) and Chris White.
Loving grandmother to Ashley, Blake, Cheyenne, Kaleb, Kourtland, Tabor, Holden, Justin, Kyle, Kaitlyn and the late Anthony.
She was also the great grandmother of Shane, Blake, Nixin, Beckham, Georgia, Ameilia, Rhett, Hayden, Gage, Onyx and Mia.
Gen will be also missed by her many brothers and sisters as well as their families and all the Joyce’s. Gen had many friends near and far and will be missed by everyone.
All are invited to attend a celebration of life to honor Gen at the Columbus Community Center Saturday August 30, 2025 from 1-3pm. If desired memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Gen was a lovely and caring human being beyond words. I worked with her for many years at Streamway Villa on night shifts; and loved every shift with her. She was inspirational to me as a young care giver in those days. I remember her visiting the “Villa” with her dogs at Christmas which brought so much jug to the residents there. Both of my daughters were blessed to have received her legendary hand made blankets embroidered by her. She will be greatly missed by many I am sure. My sincere condolences to her vast and extended family. May god bless her.

My deepest sympathy to Gen's family for your loss. Gen became my family when she married my late brother Brian Joyce over 30 years ago. I had many lovely visits with Gen and Brian at their home in N.S. and many weekend visits to my cottage in Bobcaygeon. She was the best sister-in-law I could ask for. I will miss sweet, kind, loving Gen.
