In Loving Memory of Vincent Francis McGovern
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Vincent Francis McGovern, who left us suddenly on August 17, 2025.
Vince is lovingly remembered by his fiancé Christy Young and his children Alex, Michael, William and Emily (and their mother Kerry Regan). Never to be forgotten by Christy’s children Alex and Jessica.
Vince will be missed and forever in the hearts of his father Frank McGovern (Barbara), predeceased by his loving mother Beverly Rigby. His caring sister Anne Thornton (Kevin) and their son Tyler and Karen Sefton (Kevin) and their daughters Jessica, Courtney and Brittany.
Vince will also be missed by many more relatives and friends.
Anyone blessed to know Vince will remember his bright smile, kind spirit, and generous heart. He had an unwavering desire to help others in any way he could. His joy was contagious, his presence uplifting, and his warmth unforgettable. To know Vince was to love him.
Vince was also a passionate and dedicated entrepreneur. He founded ICI Envirogroup and, through hard work and vision, built it into a thriving company in just two short years. For Vince, clients often became lifelong friends—testament to the sincerity and integrity he brought to every relationship.
The impact of Vince’s life cannot be measured. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. We will forever cherish the memory of his laughter, his kindness, and the love he gave so freely

There will be a private family visitation August 19th, 2025 followed by cremation. There will be a future Celebration of Life. Details will be sent once finalized.
Christy, Uncle Frankie, Anne & families, I was saddened to hear the news of Francis. Francis always had a smile on his face. Thinking of you all during this time. Sending much love to you all.
Vince was a very special guy! Big friendly "bear" of a man. He touched your heart, to know him. To his family and children, condolences on your loss. Be proud, in knowing that Vince was, "one of the NICEST PEOPLE YOU COULD KNOW", always there for anyone in need. You will be missed.

Our hearts are broken with you Christy on the loss Vince. What you had together was beautiful and we were so happy when you found each other. His write up describes him perfectly. To know him was to love him, his infectious laughter with the biggest smile and his kindness and generosity and the best bear hugs will never be forgotten. We always had the best times together and the laughter always flowed freely. We will always treasure his friendship and those times spent together. Know that we are here for you Christy.
