Abbott, Samuel Michael After a lengthy battle with cancer at St. Mary's Hospital of the Lake in Kingston, Ontario, on Thursday, August 25th, 2005, in his 68th year. Dear husband of the late Darlene Abbott (nee Graham). Beloved father of Betty Abbott (Brenda Fox) of Kingston and Daryl Abbott of Toronto. Dear brother of Betty Roberts of Mt. Forrest Ont., Dorothy Konecny, Jean (Leo) LeBlanc, both of Trenton, Phyllis (George) Donaldson of Carrying Place, Carol (Bob) Barriault Oshawa. Also missed by his brothers Ross (Denise) Brewer of B.C., Robert (Dianne) Brewer of Trenton, and the late Wilfred (Bud) Brewer of Oshawa. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Harry Roberts of Mt. Forrest. Also missed by his other family members. Special friend of Connie MacDonald. Sam will be sadly missed by his nieces & nephews and many friends at Cobourg, and Trenton. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 166 King St. W., in Cobourg on Tuesday, August 30th, at 11 am.
