Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, on Friday, June 27, 2025, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Jolene Corbier. Loving father of Jazmine Perrett, Brianna Perrett, the late Eric Bannister, the late Ryan Bannister and the late Meghan Bannister. Cherished grandfather of Legend. Dear brother of Donna (Virginia Spinney) Bannister, the late Bonney Bannister, Chrystal Bannister and Cheryl (Ferd Jaworski) McKay. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, at 1:00 pm. with visiting from noon – 1:00 pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Dear Jolene and the entire Bannister and Corbier Families, We were deeply saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. Gerry was a gentle man who was very laid back and never seemed to get upset. I remember when I first met him and he told me repeatedly that his name was "Gerry with a G!" Jolene, please realize that you have many friends that want to help you along your journey. Gerry Andretti Was an amazing man, I admired him like he was my father. Scolded me when needed and forgave whole heartedly where needed. Would never turn down a game of Dice, and recently got a liking to Alexa "Song Trivia " Im gonna miss ya and will treasure our times Road running. Thanks Gerry, you are never going to be forgotten xo
