Sorry to hear Shirley has left us. I will always remember how kind she was to my granddaughter Odell. She got a kick out of her, & always made time to talk to her after church at Lynnwood Reformed. Sam & Shirley were both wonderful people, & now they will be re-united in heaven.

Al & Linda Borger - June 10, 2025

To family our deepest condolences. Shirley and Sam were close friends of our family in Brockville. Shirley was a close friend of my mother who would visit her often. We stopped in to see Shirley and Sam a couple of times when they lived in the apartment in Cobourg. After Sam's passing we stopped in several times to visit with Shirley and last fall we had a lovely visit with her at the retirement home. We also kept in touch by telephone a couple of times throughout the year We are sad to hear about her passing as she seemed in such good spirits yet when we last saw her. We will always have found memories in our hearts of Shirley. When my mother passed away 11 years ago Shirley asked if she could say a few words and I will alway remember the kind words she had for my mother. Shirley was such and kind and friendly person. Again our condolences, it is alway hard to loose your mother.
