Hedy so sorry to hear of Klaus passing. He was a great person and will be missed. I enjoyed working with him at General Wire in the sixties and they were good times had by all.
Thinking of all of you in this difficult time without Klaus. He was always smiling, laughing and telling great stories. Klaus was supportive in our baseball endeavors and also took an interest in what was happening outside of baseball. I remember playing him in squash at the YMCA, thinking I was going to win pretty easily but taught me a good lesson on how to play, even though he was decades older than I was. I will be miss not chatting with him when visiting.
My condolences to the family. I met Klaus at Belden, then many years later at the YMCA and more recently at NHH. With our German backgrounds, we had an instant connection. Great conversationalist, a kind soul! Thinking of you as you grieve his loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Klaus from our days at Belden. He was such a nice fellow and planning events with him on the Rec committee was a enjoyable time. My condolences to all his family at this sad and difficult time. Mathew 5: 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Hedy and Family: We were very saddened to read of the death of such a wonder human being as Klaus and we send you our deepest sympathy. The friendship we formed back in the 70's is one of our fondest memories of working at General Wire. Being able to travel with Klaus, and you Hedy, made those working trips seem more like a vacation. Crazy times like the Mexican market in San Antonio; Space Mountain ride at Disney World and of course the car catching on fire in the parking lot to name only a few. That is how we will remember Klaus. Rest in peace old friend.
