Margaret Ann Reed

Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital Friday, April 18, 2025 at the age of 86, Margaret Ann Reed passed. Loved mother of Lorraine (Neil) Hinchliffe and Ann (Norbert) Strahl. Cherished grandmother of Kenneth (Ashley), Samantha, Calvin, Arthur and Charlotte. Great-grandmother of Owen and Abby as well as her 5 great-grandchildren. Margaret will be fondly remembered by her previous partner David Bissett. She is the sister of Gordon (Nancy) Reed. Margaret will be deeply missed by her extended family in Nova Scotia. Margaret’s family would like to thank the Northumberland Community Paramedicine Program, the Northumberland EMS, Cobourg Fire and all the staff at the Northumberland Hills Hospital. As per Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Diabetes Canada.
