Peacefully at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice on Monday, April 7th, 2025, Adam White at 43 years of age. Cherished son of Joyce Miller (Gord) and Walter White. Loving step-son of Kay White. Dear brother of Amanda White (Janet Czerepok), Jason White (Medina), Rose Miller, and step-brother of Karen Boyd (Dion). Dear uncle of Seth. Adam considered himself a by-passer in this life. He was a courageous soul that never complained about his health challenges. Always concerned about others, he was a true inspiration to all that knew him. Adam loved his poetry group and his library of books. A remarkable advocate who dedicated a large portion of his time to the accessibility community. One of Adam’s proudest moments was carrying the torch for the Parapan American Games at Oshawa in 2015. Cremation with a Celebration of Life Gathering to be announced at a later date. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice.
I never had a brother growing up but to have Adam as a brother in-law was truly an honour. He was an inspiration to all. His spirit and outlook on life is one to be admired. His strength and determination to fight all odds will never be forgotten. Hope you’re singing and dancing with the Angels above us! Tell Dakota and Liberty I miss them dearly. Until we meet again you will always be in my heart ❤️❤️❤️

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Adam, but every time Rose spoke of him, she drew a picture in my mind of someone I would have loved to know. Rose loved Adam with her whole heart, and was so proud of the person he had become and his accomplishments. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know you are in my thoughts always.

Have talked about a few of my favourite memories with your sister Rose and one of mine was going to pick up Seth and a full slow speed chase going on with you on the scooter and cobourg police down your parents street. Stopped and they were only helping as the battery had gotten low.. you were always trucking along buddy. Miss you Brother,

Adam was a ray of light! I’m so grateful to have known Adam for the last 15+ years. When Rose and I were in our 20s we would hangout with Adam in the basement and he would always tell us about the adventures he was up to and always gave such great advice. Adam loved riding his Bike around Durham and meeting new people. He would talk to anyone that was willing to listen to him and they enjoyed it. Adam was also great at being a big brother to Rose and keeping Rose in line when it was needed. (sorry Rose, had to share). Adam will be deeply missed but will live forever in our hearts. Sending lots of love to the entire family during this difficult time.
I served with Adam on the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee for many years. He was a passionate disability rights advocate and I'm truly sorry to hear of his loss. On behalf of the committee, thank you very much for your years of dedicated service.
We are so deeply sorry for your loss of Adam Adam was such an inspiration to all of us and showed that you never give up and you live your best life. He had many challenges and yet he managed to rise above them and leave us in awe. You will definitely be missed Adam by all. God bless.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Adam. Though he often saw himself as just a by-passer in this life, the truth is he left an indelible mark on all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. His quiet strength, kind heart, and the impact he had on his family, friends and community were far greater than he ever realized. Adam will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

So sorry to hear of Adam's passing. He was an extraordinary human in many ways. A true renaissance soul who touched the lives of all who met him. He was one of my customers in my shop in Oshawa right up till he moved away. May angels take him to his well earned rest.

So sorry to the White and Miller families for their loss. Met Adam several times over the years while he was advocating for various accessibility issues in Oshawa. A great young man with a heart of gold who never allowed life challenges to get in the way of is goals. He fought long and hard for many causes. He will be very much missed. Thank you Adam for allowing us to share some of your journey over the years.

As the big brother of my dear friend Rose, he graciously used to put up with us being loud and silly, getting ready for nights out. But also had such a big presence and impact on the community of Oshawa that I lived and worked in for many years. His poetry and artwork was inspiring, as he was. Sending much love to the family.

To the Miller family, it was with great sadness that I heard of young Adam has passed,I remember looking after him as a young boy he was a real pleasure looking after him he brought great happiness when he was with me ,my heart ❤️ goes out to the family he will be missed dearly ❤️
