Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, Jim Oldham at 84 years of age. Loving husband of Martha Oldham (nee Mitchell). Dear father of Linda Dowling (Mark) and Alex Oldham (Samantha). Dear grandfather of Paris Dowling, Nicholas Oldham, Brooke Oldham, and Sydney Oldham. Brother of Douglas Oldham (Anne) and the late Peter Oldham (Julia Turner). Brother-in-law of David Mitchell (Harriett). Uncle of Matthew, Luke, Timothy, Andrew, Robyn, Edwin, and Jonathan. Also missed by his cousins Janet McCann (John), Neil Packham (Dale), Kenneth McClelland (Sheila), and Carol McClelland (Colin). A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 1 pm. Reception to follow at the funeral home with interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to a charity of choice. Service will be livestreamed from this website.
Heartfelt condolences to Martha and the family on the passing of dear, kind and loving Jim. You generously took me into your home when I came from Denmark to be with my brother in 2012 and I value your friendship since. Prayers for the progress of Jim's soul in all the worlds of God.
My condolences to the Oldham family on the passing of Jim. He was a nice man, wonderful father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew him especially his family. It was a lovely service.
Martha, Linda, Alex and family, I was saddened by the news of Jim's passing and have been thinking of all of you. I remember him as such a lovely, softspoken and kind gentleman.
