Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday March 17th, 2025. Waiting at the gates for her will be her husband Stanley White and her son Bill White. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Sue Larose and Bonnie White. A devoted grandmother of Angie Shaw, Sherri, Alexis (David), Shane (Jennifer), and April (Jay). A cherished great grandmother to Mackenzie, Claudia, Marrissa, Sierra, the late Wyatt, Logan, Ariona, Marc, Mya, Malahkia, Jason and Aaliyah. She was a proud great great grandmother of Jayden, Marly, Adaline, Levii, Skye, Unity, Demetria and Adonis. She was a dear sister of Art, Bea, Don, Doug, Gerry and the late Ethel,
Vivian, Ralph, Ed, Jean, Allan and Sam. Many nieces and nephews gave her the nickname “The Dutchess”. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E. Cobourg on Thursday April 17th from 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Greta’s family would like the thank the staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their care and compassion.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I've lived in the same building as Greta for the last few years. She was friends with my grandmother Doris. They both would read the books in the laundry room and sign them. My grandmother always looked for the books Greta had read, it was very cute ♡
So sorry for your loss .I have known you guys for a long time .Many of the memories revolved around your Mom good memories .I will cherish those .She will live on in our memories. Condolences Dave
