I am heartbroken over the tragic loss of Karen. I first met Karen when she worked at Joe's Corner Store when she left there she came to work for me at the Cobourg Book Room. Condolences to the Davis and Ferguson family! I didn’t know Karen long as we only met when she and her little dog would come almost daily to visit her mother Donna in the long care home! We met again after I retired and had a nice visit! Deeply saddened for your loss!

Karen touched so many different people in so many different ways. A lovely constant people’s lives that was shockingly and suddenly taken away. May her soul ‘Rest in Peace’, so sad to hear her passing we known Karen when her Mom Donna Davis was leaving at the Golden Plough Lodge, even for a short period of time we’ve known Karen as a kind, loving,sweet and very friendly daughter. She brings Donna her favourite Spaghetti, pickles, amd sometimes brings her a sub or burgers to eat. Great loss and will be missed by Donna and us . You will not be forgotten Karen and we know that you’re not down here but we know that you’re looking down and watching us… We love you ❤️❤️❤️Olivia and the Garden staff!!!

This one hits hard . I grew up on James street so I’ve known Karen for decades . She had to walk by my house to get to downtown. She always waved or stopped to talk. We kept in touch over the years and even worked together at Dukes Variety in the early 2000’s . She held both my children after they were born and watched them grow . Karen was a beautiful woman and even more beautiful soul . We had a lot of good times together . She will be missed by many .

I have known Karen all of my life. When i was a little girl, I looked up to her and wanted to be just like her, beautiful, fierce, kind and funny. I even got my sense of style from her. From all accounts, Karen was the centre of the social life of her apartment building, and did a great job of keeping the building neat and tidy, and in touch with my father’s office; She was a connection between her neighbours and our office, and I recall meeting her and her beloved fur-baby on a couple of occasions there: she seemed like a lovely person. Her presence at and around her home, which will be forever changed, will be greatly missed, I am certain. My sincere condolences to all your family and friends who will miss her very much. I did not know Karen personally but have seen her walking her little dog on a leash around downtown Cobourg over many years. She & I would always wave hello to each other. Such a sad loss of Life...may she rest in peace & love.
