To my Godmother Valda. I will miss you but I am not sad. You enjoyed a long life, longer than many, better than most. Not always easy but together with Don there was happiness and good times in abundance. I will always remember your laugh, your chuckle when you would stop in for a visit. You always seemed happy, cheerful, ready for the days next adventure. As your journey continues on together again with Don, I believe you are at peace in a happy place. I will miss you and Don but I do not grieve for a person who enjoyed a long, happy and healthy life many would envy. sigh, I miss you already. James and Raine Mulvey

Aunt Valda was always a very sweet and kind person to everyone. I always enjoyed our phone calls, my visits with her while my oil was getting changed at Hannah motors, she’d walk down with me and I’d drive her back home after, I remember visiting her and Uncle Don a few nights before Christmas which became a tradition, as we would be getting ready to leave she would always say you better come out and have some tea and something to eat. May you rest in Peace Aunt Valda.

Amber Cordeiro - March 17, 2025

To beloved Valda, who touched our lives with warmth, kindness, and wisdom. You were not only an amazing sister to my nana but a shining light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. I loved hearing stories of you and nana growing up on the farm. Your love, laughter, and memories will continue to live on…Forever in our thoughts, always in our hearts.
