Mary Agnes "May" Clark

April 22, 1936 - March 7, 2025

With family by her side, Mary (May) Agnes Clark (nee Scott) passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Clark, May was truly the heart of the family. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. She was a loving mother to Lynn Stevenson (John) and Neil Clark (Terri), always putting her family first.

A devoted grandmother to Amber (Chris), Andrea (Ted), Lindsay (Jeremy), Tabitha (Alex), and Hillary (Chris), and a cherished great-grandmother to Nolan, Jack, Zack, Drake, Colson, and Claire. She was a dear sister to the late Andy (Margaret) and the late Jeanette (Robert). May will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

May’s love and generosity will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg, on Tuesday, March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in May’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
