May 10, 1926 - February 26, 2025

Passed away peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday, February 26th , 2025, Elizabeth “Betty” Stirling (nee Ewing) at 98 years of age. Survived by her son Gordon, grandson Sean, and great granddaughter Olivia. Predeceased by her husband Jack and her son John “Johnny”. Deeply loved and mourned by her family and friends. She gave us love, warmth and good humour. A tireless worker who gave of her time and efforts unselfishly. A willing worker for all charitable projects. The family has honoured Betty’s wish that no memorial service be held. Cremation has taken place. If you wish to mark Betty’s life, please make a donation to the Parkinson Canada Northumberland Chapter or a charity of your choice.
