With family by her side, Dianne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Cobourg at age 80. Daughter of late Lloyd and Margaret Miller, wife of late Paul Kenneth "Ken" Rekus, sister-in-law of late Douglas and John, Aunt of late Adam, survived by her loving sisters Marlynne, Judy, Brenda and brother-in-law Phil, mother of Stephen (Jennifer), Jason (Tracy) and to Allison and Ryan, grandmother of Austin, Sarah, Owen, Gregory and to Jacob and Julia. She will be missed by her sisters, children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
A very special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Extendicare Port Hope for the exceptional care, love and support they provided her over the many years she resided there and to The Palliative Care unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital. At the family's request there will be no formal service. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Lounge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice.

Stephen, Jason and family: I'm so sorry for the passing of Dianne. She was a great lady who will be greatly missed. She was usually the first resident to great me in the morning with a huge smile.
Dianne was a very good friend for many, many years. We worked together at Bell Canada and then she inspired me to move to Port Hope near her and Ken. Rest in peace.
