Peacefully and surrounded by family, Diane Harris (Gore's Landing) passed away in the late evening of Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 76 years old. Beloved wife of the late Alan Ross Harris. Loving sister to Jo-Ann Mcquaid (Gary) of Kakabeka Falls, Thunder Bay.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Luke Harris and Joshua Harris and daughter-in-law Rebecca Harris. Forever cherished and remembered by her grandchildren Keegan and Gracie who brought everlasting love and light into her life. Fondly remembered by Murray Harris (Betty) of Harwood and all of the extended Harris family including many nieces and nephews.
She will truly be missed by those she advocated for during her long career as an APSW throughout South Eastern Ontario.
Predeceased by her parents Edward and Joan Johnston and nephew Christopher McQuaid. Friend to Susan and John Bickle.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 2, 2025 from 1 to 5pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, in the Reception Centre, 30 King St. E., Cobourg. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
I was sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I always enjoyed our conversations during her lunch time visits at the Dutch Oven. She was a genuinely caring and compassionate person. She will be missed, Sincerely, Lauren Maclean
Such a lovely lady. I first met Diane many years ago when I was a teacher at Luke's daycare. We would run into each other occasionally over the years and reminisce. Sorry to hear of her passing.
Very sorry to hear of Diane's passing. Diane and I worked together as separate agencies supporting many of the same clients. She was compassionate and supportive to so many. She was an earth angel and will not be forgotten.
I always appreciated a little conversation with Diane. She had a great chuckle and a very caring attitude. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.
