Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Monday February 10, 2025 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Bowers. Loving mother of Gaetanne Bolton (David) and the late Allen Paradis (Della). Proud grandmother of Charles, Tammy, the late AJ, Jessica, Danielle and Wendy. Step mother of Grace Bowers. Step grandmother of Angela, Shannon, Shane, Ben and Lauralynn. Great grandmother of Austin and Katy. Sister of Stella and Aledia, and predeceased by her other brothers and sisters. She will be missed by her cat Tucker. Phyllis loved to travel with her best friend Phyllis Richardson, and they enjoyed camping as long as the park had a teeter-totter and swings. A service will be held at Eddystone Baptist Church 378 Eddystone Road, Grafton on Saturday March 15, 2025 at 1 pm. Donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

What a sweet lady, so kind, gracious, patient and genuine. She was a bright light around the table at the Eddystone Bible study. Years ago, she would MC the Candle Light service, skits, music and poetry readings and was still admirably driving her own car until quite recently. My parents appreciated their friendship with the Bowers. She will be missed. May she rest in peace. Comfort and strength to her family and friends to run the race and to finish well.

Hello: Phyllis will be missed by many. Last time I heard from her she left me a message to be sure and attend the Christmas service at Eddystone. She loved the Lord and is now at peace. I worked with her on the Board at First Baptist Church, Port Hope, for a few years and she was always a dedicated member. My deepest sympathy to her family. Helen Glenn
