I will miss having Iris as my next door neighbour. We enjoyed many deck visits,strolls around the neighbourhood, card nights and many conversations. My heart felt condolences to Rob and the family. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Iris at Grandview when I joined the Friday night Euchre. She was always very kind and inclusive to me as I was new to the group. I’m sorry to hear of her loss and express my condolences to her family

I fondly remember Iris as a very capable colleague at Municipal, and even more gifted as a friend. I remember recognizing her as one of our “employees of the year”. She helped hold our team together - even 20 years later. We are sorry for your loss and wish the family comfort and healing in your pain.

We were new neighbours together in Cobourg. Always a friendly wave, a chat and occasionally a card game…..a wonderful neighbour. Iris held her grace through such a difficult year with such dignity. Turning back the clock over 15 years ago when Iris and I met on Day 1 of Pitney Bowes "New Hire" training. We became quick friends and shared many laughs and lunchtime chats during our time as PB family. Always the proud Mom and Grandmother, her stories were always filled with great love for her growing family. It was always such a pleasure to hear about each. Your infectious laugh and caring heart will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Rest easy special lady, your absence will be felt.

To the entire McIvor family I met Iris when I was hired for a pilot project with Pitney Bowes and she was our trainer I liked her right from the get go and we became fast friends both at work and outside work She was a very special lady who loved her family deeply and always spoke lovingly and often of them I miss her deeply Her smile ,her personality was so contagious that people wanted to be around her and she had a heart of gold I would not have made it as far as I did with Pitney Bowes if it wasn’t for her friendship We had such fun times together Rest in peace Iris you will be missed 🙏❤️💔
